Another 'rest' day today and it was a bit easier than yesterday. Must be settling in! Change state and time zone today. Now in Montana for the next few days. So far, very similar to Idaho. Lots of nice roads through the mountains and plenty of rivers and lakes.

The approach to Thompson Falls was good. We traversed a 2 mile bridge over a beautiful lake. Looked very similar to a French lake (e.g. Annecy). We had a cracking hotel overlooking a river. Spent some time before dinner watching Bald Eagles in the trees opposite.

No aircon in our room tonight, so we left the door open. Kurt (my roommate) slept by the door so any wildlife would've got to him first :)

Check out the links opposite. These are alternative views of the tour. May be more up to date than mine aswell!!

Typical scenery around here
