An Englishman struggled today! I've had a sore throat since the start (from the plane trip, I think). Now it's a cough and slight cold. I also had a 'hit and run' from a bee two days ago and the resulting sting on the thigh has swollen alot and is uncomfortable. We had a lot of gradual climbing during the morning which didn't help and I have a sore butt. Ok, excuses excuses... Did I already mention I have a cold? In these temperatures. Funny, ha ha.

And after lunch we had a long steep climb to 6,300 ft. Oh and at lunch we had to ride our expensives bikes through a wet dirt road to get to the food. My Seven was messy!

I struggled into Butte not feeling good about things. I think you've guessed by now this was not one of my better days.

Visit from the p*nct*re fairy...
Scenery Ok, but I wasn't looking...
Grinding up the pass.
