Back to real mileage today! We had a strong paceline going in the morning - 20mph+ - thanks Kurt, John and Peter. This made us first on the road til lunch. A nice tailwind made the day reasonably easy, despite the distance.

We were on and off the Interstate 90 today. (Think time-trialing on a dual-carriageway in England). It was pretty unpleasant riding on the shoulder which was full of grit/glass/tyre shreds. Luckly traffic was light. Apparently this way was safer than the alternative main road route.

Arrived in Missoula in the blazing sunshine again. But, our fast ride meant we had less hours in the heat. Good strategy. Now if only I was fitter and stronger, I could do that every day...
